LED lights, known as Light emitting diode lights can easily be placed into any fixture designing for the installation. For the ceilings as used in many corporate areas and now in homes recessed type casing is used, but when required specially for the outdoors or any places where the ceiling height is very high, walls are used for the illumination.
LED lights attached with the walls are called Wall Sconces, or LED Wall Sconces. There are many versatile and flexible designs available in LED recessed Lighting. The styles are abundant in number, they have oriental designs, contemporary and as well as modern designs. Traditional designs with bronze coating are also available in choice. The additional flexibility of the Wall Sconces is that they can both be powered by a battery and also hard wired.
With a proper consultancy of lighting specialists and experts, wall sconces LEDs are used in all those spaces where power economy and minimum maintenance is the primary issue. The only limitation is there usage under certain temperature limits, specifically if chosen for external use, especially in hot areas. They have a very subtle and non obstructive design which makes them easily integrated into any architectural environment.
Depending upon the application and surroundings, they are available in different colors and shades. Furthermore for certain special occasions, the white bulb can be replaced with the colored ones.
Banks which need to be illuminated continuously even after the off timings, specially the main door ways and corridors can have a massive advantage of these Wall Sconces. The main frame in which the lighting element or bulb placed is very simple. A metal plate or frame is joined with the bulb holder and further covered with the shade; it could be a plastic, glass, polymer or ceramic. There is no complexity of engineering involved and therefore this factor also brings down its maintenance cost to minimum.
Due to its advantage and capacity to run on batteries it becomes ideal for use at the remote work stations, military camps, oil rigs, construction sites, ships, boats and even air planes, MRVs. Plus small housing colonies can induct them outside every house with the dual purposes of saving power, cost and proper illumination.
Any wall light we see around can be converted into wall sconces, simply by replacing the bulb light holder with the LED light, or at least all similar designs can be produced for the LED. In fact this would not only save the power, it would bring down the weight and ease in packing.
